A custom multilingual WordPress platform developed for the Danish Business Chamber of Barcelona in collaboration with our partner MS Nordic.
Linzila handled the technical development and contributed to the website design together with MS Nordic, including custom membership and event functionality, WooCommerce integration and multilingual development.
More than a website: a platform for members and events
The Danish Business Chamber of Barcelona needed a website capable of supporting both its public presence and the day-to-day management of its members and events.
Working together with our partner MS Nordic, we helped create a multilingual WordPress platform tailored to the Chamber’s requirements.
MS Nordic manages the client relationship and provides the website hosting, while Linzila contributed to the design and was responsible for the technical development and custom functionality.
A major part of the project was developing dedicated membership and event systems and connecting them with WooCommerce to create integrated registration and payment processes.
A custom platform built around the Chamber
The website was designed in collaboration with MS Nordic, with Linzila handling the WordPress development and implementation of the technical functionality required by the Chamber.
A dedicated event system was developed to support the Chamber’s events, including event registration, attendee management and access based on membership or invitation requirements.
WooCommerce was configured and integrated with the custom systems to support membership sign-ups and paid event registrations.
This allows registrations, payments and the Chamber’s custom membership and event functionality to work together within the same platform.
The website was developed as a multilingual platform, allowing the Chamber to communicate with its international community across multiple languages while keeping its membership and event functionality integrated.
Linzila continues to participate in the maintenance and technical support of the website, including the custom functionality developed for the platform.
More than standard WordPress functionality
The membership and event functionality was developed specifically around the Chamber’s requirements rather than relying solely on standard WordPress functionality.
Members can interact with membership and event features through the website, while WooCommerce provides the commerce layer required for paid registrations and membership sign-ups.
This creates one connected platform for the Chamber’s website, members, events, registrations and payments.
